As a chef, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and menu items that were executed in a professional manner on a busy Saturday night. The atmosphere is truly remarkable. Can’t wait to return and experience the beautiful patio area. What a gem for the Northern Brainerd community! Well done! Try the self service tap beer area.

From beginning to end, every step of the way was a pleasure and they could not have been more accommodating. PJ and her team are a dream to work with! We hired The Woods after receiving a recommendation on how fantastic their food is. I actually had a different wedding caterer booked, so I was nervous that the Woods might not live up to the hype (and worth the deposit lost). I cannot recommend the Woods enough. We hosted a fully outdoor wedding at my in law's cabin property - very stressful to not have a catering kitchen, onsite dinnerware, etc. PJ helped guide me through the entire planning process of what rental items we needed and what food would travel best for an offsite wedding. She also worked closely with my tent rental company, Party Time Rental, to make sure everything was running smoothly and all items were dropped off/picked up on time. We received SO many compliments on the wedding food- and people rarely compliment wedding food! Much less for an offsite wedding at someone's home. I am so pleased with the Woods and the best part is, we can pop into their restaurant anytime to re-experience their amazing meals. Don't hesitate to book the woods for your next catering event!

We stopped and tried the Woods on their opening weekend and it was awesome. We found a table on the patio, nice setting. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and made numerous suggestions and I might add were the correct ones. Don't miss the au grauten potatoes and the woods chips were out of this world. Burgers were Great, Cod was good, and the beer was cold. We will be back! Thanks for the great service.
